About the routine

What does the routine actually do?
The Aperture Skin routine pairs three or four products designed to support the appearance of plumper, smoother, more even-toned skin: the Peptide Serum 01, the Copper Peptide Cream, the Eye Cream, and the LED Light Therapy Mask. Used together, ten minutes a night, they form a complete daily routine. Read the full breakdown on the Science page.
How long until I see a difference?
Most people start to notice softer texture and more even tone within 2–4 weeks of nightly use. The fuller appearance benefits — what most customers describe as "looks more like my skin in its prime" — typically show by week 6–8. Skin is variable; some people respond faster, some slower. The routine works on accumulation, not instant fix.
Do I have to use all the products to see results?
No. Each product works on its own and the line is designed so you can build the routine over time. The Peptide Serum 01 is the foundation — start there. Add the Copper Peptide Cream and the LED Mask when you’re ready. The Routine Kit is the most effective combination because the products work together, but no single piece is mandatory.
Morning or night?
Night is the primary recommendation for the full routine. The peptides work undisturbed while you sleep, and the LED session is part of a wind-down ritual that’s easy to stick to. The serum can also be used in the morning before sunscreen if you want — the LED mask, however, is a night-only step.
Can I use this with my existing skincare?
Yes, with care. Some active ingredients can compete with peptides — strong AHA / BHA / vitamin C in particular. If you currently use those, alternate nights: peptide routine one night, your existing actives the next. Sunscreen is essential and not optional — wear SPF50+ daily regardless of what your night routine looks like.

About the products

What peptides are in the serum?
Peptide Serum 01 contains a blend of: Matrixyl 3000 (Palmitoyl Oligopeptide and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7), Argireline (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8), and Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1. Plus supporting ingredients including Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, and Glycerin. The full INCI list is on the product page and on every bottle.
What’s in the Copper Peptide Cream?
The hero ingredient is GHK-Cu (Copper Tripeptide-1), one of the most-researched cosmetic peptides. The base is formulated to keep the GHK-Cu stable and to glide easily into the skin. Full INCI list on the product page.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Most people with sensitive skin tolerate the routine well. The serum is fragrance-free and the cream contains gentle, well-studied ingredients. As with any new skincare, we recommend a 24-hour patch test on the inside of your forearm before applying to your face. If you have a known severe skin condition (eczema, rosacea, dermatitis, psoriasis) consult your GP or dermatologist before using.
Are the products vegan and cruelty-free?
The peptide serum and copper peptide cream are vegan and not tested on animals. The LED mask is also cruelty-free. Specific ingredient sourcing certifications will be listed on each product page once supplier audits are complete.
Where are the products made?
The peptide serum, copper peptide cream, and eye cream are formulated and manufactured in Australia. The LED light therapy mask is manufactured to our specification overseas (typically in Shenzhen, China — a global hub for premium LED device manufacturing) and quality-checked before dispatch from Australia. Country of manufacture is printed on every product label as required by Australian law.
Is the LED mask wireless?
Yes. The Aperture Skin LED mask is rechargeable USB-C with approximately 60 minutes of run-time per charge — enough for 6 sessions before recharging. We chose wireless over corded because it makes the routine easier to do consistently.
What wavelengths does the LED mask emit?
Red light at 660 nm and near-infrared at 830 nm, simultaneously. This dual-wavelength combination is the most-studied for the appearance benefits we focus on. See the Science page for the full explanation.
Is it safe to use the LED mask if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
There’s no published research suggesting risk, but as a precaution we recommend consulting your GP before using during pregnancy. Don’t use the mask if you’re taking photosensitising medications (some antibiotics, retinoids, or psoriasis treatments) without checking with your doctor first.
How often should I use the LED mask?
Nightly for the first 30 days to see the appearance benefits people typically report. After that, 4–5 nights a week is enough for maintenance.

About the brand

Who is Aperture Skin?
Aperture Skin is a small Australian skin-tech brand built by two co-founders. Our parent company is Top End Co. Pty Ltd, registered in Australia. Read more on the About page.
Where is Australia’s Top End?
The Top End is the tropical northern part of Australia — the Northern Territory around Darwin, Kakadu, and Arnhem Land. It’s where the parent company was founded.
Are you on social media?
Yes — @apertureskin on Instagram and TikTok. We post a mix of education, behind-the-scenes, and customer routines.
Do you have a wholesale or stockist program?
Not yet. We’re focused on direct-to-consumer for the first 12 months. If you’re a salon, clinic, or retailer interested in wholesale, email admin@topendpeptides.com.au and we’ll add you to a notification list for when wholesale opens.

Compliance and what we don’t claim

Are these products medically-approved or therapeutic?
No. Aperture Skin products are cosmetics, not therapeutic goods. They are not registered on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG), and we don’t make claims that would require ARTG registration. The products are designed to support the appearance of healthier-looking skin, not to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. If you have a specific medical concern, consult a qualified medical professional.
Why don’t you say your products are "clinically proven"?
Because we haven’t run a clinical trial on our specific products. Generic ingredient research isn’t the same as proof of our formulations, and we don’t want to overstate what we know. The active ingredients we use are well-researched in the public literature; we’ll point you at that research and let you decide. See the Science page.
Are the reviews on the site real?
Yes. We use an independent review platform to verify reviews from genuine customers. We don’t write reviews, edit reviews, or selectively publish only positive reviews. Faking reviews is illegal under Australian Consumer Law and we wouldn’t do it even if it weren’t.
